It is extracted from the flowering sesame plant’s seed. The oil has a taste similar to the nut and contains a high level of unsaturated fats. It is useful for cooking purposes as well, but it is one of the appropriate oil to use on our skin. It contains tocopherol, pinoresinol, sesamin, sesamolin, sesaminol and sesamol.

Sesame Oil has antioxidant properties, which means it fights against the molecules harming the skin. For reducing swelling and inflammation, it has the property of anti-inflammatory. This helps in stopping the growth of harmful microorganisms on the skin and kills them. It is also useful in various things such as piles, ear pain, tooth problems, bones, anxiety, and depression.
