1 – 2 tablets with water after food twice or thrice a day or as directed by the physician. There are no known side effects of this product. Store in a cool and dry place. Trikatu churna has antiviral properties. It is effective for runny nose, congestion, sneezing, and body aches. However, if the throat is red, irritated, and inflamed, or if one has a dry cough due to irritation in the throat, Trikatu is not suitable in such conditions.

It reduces the production of phlegm and chest congestion. Trikatu churan has hot potency, due to which it reduces the mucus production in the lungs and helps in treating asthma, and respiratory diseases like bronchitis. Trikatu churna is a good cholesterol-lowering remedy. Trikatu increases the synthesis of bile acid from cholesterol in the liver. However, it may not block cholesterol production like modern medicines, but it helps in the proper utilization of cholesterol in the body and thus reduces excess cholesterol levels in the body.
