Jathyadi Ghritham is an Ayurvedic preparation that has a combination of herbs that make it an excellent wound-healing cream. Its skin-soothing and moisturising properties make it a lip balm for dry lips, ointment for breast cracks and a foot crack cream. It’s a multi-purpose natural wound healing cream made of traditionally used Ayurvedic ingredients. It is very useful for application to heal non-healing wounds. This medicine is in a ghee base and is a fragrant and effective balm for application on damaged or cracked skin areas.

It is anti-bacterial (active against bacteria). It is anti-ulcer (active against ulcer, tending to prevent or heal ulcers). It is anti-microbial (active against microbes). It is antiseptic (capable of preventing infection by inhibiting the growth of infectious agents). It helps in treating ulcers, eczema, and other skin-related problems. Malathi (Jasminum grandiflorum) Jasmine: Balances all three Doshas, improves the skin complexion, relieves skin conditions like scabies and itching, used in Ayurveda for wound healing and in treating ulcers. Paribhadra (Erythrina indica): Balances Kapha and Vata Doshas, relieves inflammation and swelling, used as an antiseptic in Ayurveda, used in Ayurvedic formulations for topical application on non-healing wounds. Parpataka (Oldenlandia umbellata): Used in Ayurveda for its antimicrobial activity, used in Ayurvedic medicines to treat dermatitis. Sushavi (Calicopteris floribunda): Pacifies vitiated Pitta and Kapha Doshas, useful in Ayurvedic medicine for skin diseases and ulcers. Raktapamarga (Cyanthula prostrata): Pacifies vitiated Vata and Kapha Doshas. Bhadrika (Aerva lanata): Pacifies vitiated Vata and Kapha Doshas. Nirgundi (Vitex negundo): Balances Vata and Kapha Dosha, helps in Ayurvedic medicine to heal wounds making it ideal for cracked lips treatment. Jalani (Lagenaria siceraria) Bottle gourd: Used in Ayurveda to relieve itching and treat skin diseases. Upakunjika (Physalis minima): Used in Ayurveda as an analgesic anti-inflammatory. Durva (Cynodon dactylon): Useful in wound healing making it an ideal ingredient in a cracked heels remedy. Madhuyashti (Glycyrrhiza glabra): Used in Ayurveda for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antacid properties. Madhucchista (Beeswax): Useful in wound healing and Ayurvedic skin balms. Ghritha (Ghee): Excellent for Vata Dosha vitiation, prescribed in Ayurveda as an excellent lubricant of the connective tissues, thought to be essential to the smooth flow of the contents of the bowels in the digestive process, Ayurveda attributes the ability to balance the body and mind to the intake of ghee, when used topically it soothes Pitta Dosha related skin problems.
